🌍 From Vietnam to Europe: How T3 Architects and Kanopéa Studio Redefine Sustainable Architecture

As climate change compels us to rethink design, architects are reinventing the art of building resilient, low-carbon spaces that remain deeply rooted in local cultures. From Hội An to Paris, our two entities — T3 Architects in Vietnam and Kanopéa Architecture Studio in Europe — share the same mission: to harmonize architecture with people, nature, and heritage.

Our firm T3 Architects was recently featured in CNN Style for our work on HippoFarm, an eco-resort located near Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

The article  highlights our frugal and sustainable design approach:

🌾 Rice husk insulation (combined with diatomaceous earth) to provide natural thermal comfort, repel pests, and resist humidity.

🐎 Recycling steel horse boxes to elevate the dormitory above flood levels, ensuring resilience in the face of Vietnam’s increasing storms and floods.

🌿 Integration of local materials (bricks, sand, lime, bamboo) and traditional Vietnamese building principles (wide roof overhangs, cross-ventilation) to create a low-carbon, climate-adaptive solution.
